Since the beginning of time, the birth of some have marked a great change in the progression of society. Their mere existence have made and will continue to make the world a better place, and it is the birth of one of such people, that we would like to celebrate. Eighty-Four years ago, on the fifth of March 1937, a gem in the form of Chief Olusegun Obasanjo was brought into this world and by virtue of that, multiple blessings upon the people of Nigeria, but most especially the youth. Since his going to school at the age of eight,he has understood the importance of education and has arrived for education for all, He has been a warrior fighting for young women in business and has gone to great lengths to ensure that Nigeria's food supply is self sustaining by establishing farms in the country.                                             First of , the Godfather of our society, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, and his being the first appearance is by no accident. Mr space might have been the first african to engage in space related ventures but Chief Obasanjo as he is popularly called has always shown great interest in the advancement of the nation and felt it a necessity for Nigeria and by extension Africa has a say in all things space. To further this cause, he founded the great institution that is our university and had a hand in opening the Nigerian Space Center. He has received numerous awards and commendations throughout his illustrious career and has inspired so many African and Nigerian youths just as he has done for us.        The grandfather of our society,Prof. E.      Here at the Space Tourism Society, we believe in progress irrespective of gender, that is why it fills our heart with joy to celebrate the birthday of one of the most successful women in Africa - Mrs Nneka Isaac Moses.     Mrs Nneka is one of those advocating tourism in Africa, she is an entrepreneur and the managing director of Goge Africa and has been crowned the Queen of tourism. She is extremely creative, passionate and while been blessed with outstanding beauty is extremely humble and charismatic.     On this beautiful day that has been blessed by her birth, no words can do her justice, however we wish from the very bottom of all our hearts to wish her a very Happy Birthday!.     We look forward to witnessing so many more happy days as she climbs the ladder of entrepreneurial success.     Once again we wish her a very Happy Birthday!

WHO WE ARE.

         The space tourism society - bell chapter or STSB for short, is the bells university of technology branch of the space tourism society founded by John Spencer on the 28th of April 1996. As you can probably guess, Mr. Spencer is passionate about all things space and has an avid interest in the development of space travel and it's commercialization all so you and i can spend our next holiday among the stars.     He worked at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration or NASA as you know it before eventually leaving in 1996 to pursue his passion of promoting S cience, Technology, Engineering, Arts Mathematics (S.T.E.A.M) as a way to encourage and motivate students to develop interest in SPACE.     Since then the society has grown from strength to strength and while it has been characterized by periods of inactivity in the past, we're back with a bang to promote advancement of technology on the African continent - for good, and with several high profile sponsors and
